The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) Archives is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications for its 2024 fellowship program. In 2024, three to six fellowships will be awarded to senior scholars, postdoctoral researchers, graduate students, and independent researchers to conduct research in the JDC Archives. Our finding aids can be consulted to identify relevant subject areas of research. The fellowship awards are $2,500 and the deadline for submission is January 30, 2024. Fellows are expected to make a remote public presentation on their research upon conclusion of the fellowships and to provide the JDC Archives with a copy of their research outputs. Past fellows have worked on diverse topics ranging from the travel experiences of American Jewish women between the end of the Civil War and the beginning of World War II to the origins and functions of the Intergovernmental Committee on European Migration (ICEM) in the 1950s and 1960s. https://archives.jdc.org/about-us/fellowships-and-grants-general-information/
